Kiss the Basketball World Goodbye! Ch.6

  
    It was about 6:00 in the morning when Maimi came into  Taiga's bedroom to get him up for the day. "Mom, school doesn't start until 10:00 am." Taiga yawned as he got out of bed. "Great! You can come with me to pick up your cousins from the airport!" Maimi squealed as she walked to the kitchen to make eggs and bacon with toast for breakfast. Taiga groaned as he went into the bathroom and got ready for the day. After he got ready, he helped his mom with breakfast while Tito was getting his items ready to go back to the office to work and keep his company in check.  It wasn't long before they were all eating their fill. "Taiga, your cousins are going to the same school as you too, so please take them to the school after Maimi takes them to the apartment."Tito simply said while he gave the rest of his food to Maimi who gleefully chowed it down.  Tito was ready to leave while Taiga finished with the dishes, Maimi and Tito had a long kiss goodbye and Tito walked out of the door. "Okay, now we have to use the subway because Tito is driving our only  car, because he broke the other one." Maimi said as she was putting on her light green tennis shoes. "Come on! I don't want to be in the rush! Let's go!" 

 
    By the time Taiga and his mom, Maimi got to the subway train, it was about 6:30. Through the ride, Taiga thought about how much his cousins could have changed through the years. He hasn't seen them in 11 years, so they must of changed. He looked at his mom who looked stressed out. She was tapping her feet and was holding her purse tightly while looking suspiciously at different people. Taiga knew that his mom hasn't changed much. At the end of the ride, Maimi was the first one out of the train and waited for Taiga to leave too. The moment she found Taiga, she grabbed his arm and started running to the airport which was only a few minutes away. By the time they got there, it was 7:15. Maimi ran in to the airport and started to look around for them. Taiga just followed.By the time Maimi found the group, it was already 7:30. All 4 of them barely looked anything like Taiga. "Airi! Kouki! Taiki! Yua! It has been so long since I've seen you all! You all remember Taiga, right?!!" Maimi sang as she hugged everyone. Taiga looked at all of them. Airi had her dark brown hair in braides and her green eyes shining with happiness like Maimi's, but she has a crazy glint in her's. Holding her hand was Taiki with his blaeck hair in a low ponytail and his blue eyes were staring him down. Kouki looked very skittish and was mumbling to his twin sister, Yua who had an emotionless look on her face like Kuroko's.  They both have dark brown hair, but Kouki has blue eyes and Yua has green eyes and that was the only difference between them other than their gender."Come on you guys! Stop staring and more moving! I don't want to miss the subway train!" Maimi yelled as she gotten one of their many bags. 



                     .........At The Apartment!.........



    It took them all a while to get all of the stuff from the subway and walking all the way back to the apartment. By the time the got they got there, it was already 8:30. "Oh! You all must be famished! I will make some tea and some pie!" Maimi said while skipping into the kitchen." Yay! Hay Taiga! Do you like it here? I want to meet all of your friends and become friends with them to and become a big happy family!!" Airi giggled as she got the last of the bags. Taiki nodded in agreement and walked into the bathroom with some clothes in his hands. "I knew he was excited! He is taking as shower right now , so he can change in into his uniform!" Airi yelled happily as she hugged Taiga. "I-I n-never seen him s-so happy." Kouki shuddered as he twiddled his fingers. "True. I am excited also." Yua said quietly as she took out 4 books bags that looked a lot like Taiga's and started to put school supplies in them. "I also wrote the names on them too, so don't worry." Yua said after finishing.  "We have our uniform s ready, so let's do this thing!!" Airi shouted with glee.

    By the time Maimi got done making the tea and a snack, everyone was in their uniform ready to go. When they saw the food, the all are their fill. "Look how short my shirt is, Yua! My legs are going to get frost bite! People could see my underwear if I jump or bend over! If mother saw me in this, she would have a fit!!" Airi screeched as she looked down at herself. " I think mine looks fine to me." Yua said. "You skirt is longer than mine!", Airi cried. "So. I asked for it this way." Yua said to Airi. " Stop bickering you two! It is already 9:30, so you all have to go before 10:00 or you all will be late! Oh! Think of what would happen if you are late!" Maimi sighed as she got the dishes cleaned. Taiki was pulling Taiga out of the apartment after he heard that and the other cousins came walking  behind them.
